Kimberly K. Saunders

Kimberly is a former juvenile court judge in Georgia, and has maintained a private practice of law for over eleven years, primarily in the area of domestic relations, juvenile matters, and mediation. Kimberly moved to Northeast Georgia 30 years ago to advance her first career in software design and development. After more than a decade working in management and software development, Kimberly pursued a new professional direction, and obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work and Law Degree from the University of Georgia. During her legal career, she has focused on advocacy and solutions for families and children experiencing crises involving legal matters. Her legal training and experience, and education in mental health issues, and family, group, and individual counseling have provided a holistic tool set useful in the resolution of these complex and highly emotional cases.
Kimberly and her husband, Mark, have two adult children, both married and living in the Atlanta area, and six grandchildren. She enjoys playing golf, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and grandchildren.
